In this activity you define the possible screen layouts for warranty claim processing.

Use

The screen layout refers to the display of the warranty claim in transactions WTY and WTYRCL.

The screen layouts are not user-specific. They are specific to the warranty claim type.

You assign the screen layouts to the warranty claim types in Customizing for Warranty Porcessing under Warranty Claim --> Define Warranty Claim Types

Hinweis:the definition of a screen layout only refers to the tab pages in the work area of the warranty claim. The header and the navigation area of the warranty claim are independent of the warranty claim type and have been predefined; they cannot be influenced by Customizing. You can assign a separate screen area to each warranty claim type for customer-specific fields.

Note:you can use BAdI WTY_DYNPRO_DYNAMIC together with customer exit WTY0001 to hide screen areas outwith the tab pages or exchange with areas with customer-specific fields.

Requirements

Standard settings

The SAP standrd system provides a layout with and a layout without a navigation tree for displaying data in the standard warranty claim (transaction WTY) and also a layout with and a layout without a navigation tree for displaying recalls (transaction WTYRCL).

Activities

  1. Create a key and a description for each layout.
  2. For each layout, define the sequence and the titles of the tab pages that are to be displayed. You can enter a maximum of 10 tab pages.
  3. For each tab page, define which of the predefined group boxes is to be displayed on the tab page and in which sequence. The group boxes can be those delivered by SAP or they can be based on customer-specific programming (customer exit WTY00002).
