In this IMG activity you assign a decision code to specific messages that are the result of validations.
Furthermore, you define whether such a message should result in the termination of the automatic processing of the warranty claim.
Use
The system can display a message as the result of a validation. You can define the message class and message number together with the validation. If you assign a decision code to such a message, this decision code is set in the warranty claim as the result of the validation.
Requirements
Standard settings
There are no assignments in the standard system settings.
Activities
Example
If a validation checks whether an object still has a warranty and ends in a negative result, the system can display, for example, the following message: "No warranty exists for this object" and then set the decision code "rejected" in the claim.
