Use

You assign a copy procedure to each warranty claim type. This defines the processes for copying claims or versions for each warranty claim type.

You define warranty claim types in Customizing for Warranty Processing, under Warranty Claim Processing --> Define Warranty Claim Types.

You assign a copy procedure to each warranty claim type in Customizing for Warranty Processing, under Warranty Claim Control --> Copy Profile --> Assign Copy Procedures to Claim Types.

Standard settings

The copy procedure C1 is provided as standard in the standard system.

Activities

1. Define a code and description for each copy procedure.
2. For each copy procedure, state which fields are to be copied from which tables when copying claims or versions.
