You can find this activitiy in the SAP Menu under Tools --> Administration --> Administration --> Network --> RFC Destinations and within this transaction, under RFC --> RFC groups.
In this step, you summarize servers into a group by assigning various instances (servers) to a server/logon group.
When the system executes a separated backflush, it automatically selects the instance with the best response time. So by creating a server group, you provide the system with a choice of servers for backflushing. This enables load distribution using parallel processing and therefore faster completion of the deferred backflushing processes.
In this step, you can also specify load limits for the individual instances.
