In this step, you create a repetitive manufacturing profile.

The Repetitive Manufacturing Profile Assistant takes you through all the settings, enabling you to manually define all parameters for a profile.

You can also change or copy existing repetitive manufacturing profiles.

Activities

To create a repetitive manufacturing profile, proceed as follows:

  1. Enter a name and description for the profile.
  2. Assign an order type.
    3. The order type for make-to-order repetitive manufacturing is SA. The order type for make-to-stock repetitive manufacturing is PKMN. This order type controls that the product cost collector in Cost Object Controlling is created manually by the user.
  3. Define the control data.
  4. Enter movement types
    5. In so far as possible, you should use the movement types designated for your purpose.
  5. Save your profile.

The repetitive manufacturing profile is recorded in the material master record. Thus, you can decide which variant of repetitive manufacturing is to be used per material.
