In this workstep, you maintain the number ranges and intervals for the number assignment for the ID number of the kanban. This ID number identifies every individual kanban and is significant when working with bar codes.

The ID number is assigned to every kanban (container) when you create the control cycle.

The following number range and interval are preset in the SAP standard system:

internal number range 01, interval from 1 to 9999999999

Recommendation

SAP recommends you to work with the settings in the standard system in which case, you are not required to make any further settings.
