In this IMG activity you define condition types for the value contract. The condition types form the pricing elements in the SAP system (e.g. prices, surcharges, discounts, taxes).
Value contract settings
The condition type settings for value contracts follow the same rules as for other sales documents. You need a condition type for the target value in the value contract. This has been defined as WK00 in the standard system.
Check the following settings for the target value's condition type for value contracts:
- Condition class
B (prices) - Calculation type
Enter B - Header/item condition
To maintain conditions at item level, select item condition. - Manual entry
Set the setting to manual. - Amount/percent
Select Amount/Percent as change options. This will allow you to change the amount or percentage value of the condition type when processing the document.
Activities
- Check how far you can use the condition types that were delivered with the SAP standard system.
- Maintain the detail screen for the condition type.
To do this you can use a reference condition type to which similar condition types are assigned. This means that you only need to maintain condition records for the reference condition type. - You are also able to define upper and lower limits to the value of the condition. You can do this at condition type level. This restricts the amounts or scale value in the relevant condition records.
