The validity period category is a user-defined key which can be used to determine the basic validity periods in contracts automatically.
A validity period category is defined by a time interval with a certain time unit (for example, 12 months, 4 weeks). The system uses the validity period category to propose the validity period in a contract.
The validity period category can be used as a key term in pricing and is used, for example, for statistical evaluations.
Actions
- To create a new validity period category, you enter an alphanumeric key with a maximum of two characters as well as a textual description.
- Specify a validity period for the contract by entering a validity period as well as an appropriate unit.
- If necesary, enter the validity period category for a contract profile.
