In this step, you:

  • Define card types
  • Specify the type of check that the system carries out on a card number, on the basis of the card type, when you enter a card number in a document
  • Specify a date type to control whether payment card dates are entered in month/day/year or month/year form

Standard settings

The standard system contains three card types and their check functions:

  • American Express and its function CCARD_CHECK_AMEX
  • MasterCard and its function CCARD_CHECK_MC
  • Visa and its function CCARD_CHECK_VISA

In addition, we provide the standard LUHN_MOD_TEN check function for these card types.
