The SAP system determines the relevant sold-to party number based on data in the delivery schedule sent in by the customer with Electronic Data Interchange.
In this step, you assign a sold-to party number to the following criteria:
- Vendor number (the number used by the customer for you, the component supplier)
- Partner description (such as delivering plant)
- Unloading point
To determine the sold-to party number, the system reads the table in full. If no unloading point has been entered, the system reads the table again and ignores the unloading point field.
