In this menu option, you define the industry sector codes which you can allocate to a customer.
You specify the industry sector code in the general data of the customer master record as part of the marketing information. This means that the specification of an industry sector code is valid for all sales areas.
When processing a sales activity, you can display the industry sector code which applies to a customer. To do this, call up the customer master data as additional information in sales activity.
Actions
- Specify an alphanumeric key which can have up to 10 characters and a description for the industry sector codes.
- Make sure that the industry sector codes are entered in the customer master records.
