In this processing step, you define the picking profile for handling units. The profile controls whether
- specific HUs or
- HUs for a summarized JIT call or
- HUs which were put together according to a specific packing instruction
are picked.
You define the profile when defining the storage type.

If you want the system to search through the entire warehouse number, call up the IMG activity Activate Storage Type Search (Logistics Execution -> Warehouse Management -> Strategies -> Activate Storage Type Search), choose 'Determine search sequence', and enter '###' as storage type. The system will then use the HU picking profile 0001 ("All HU picking strategies active").
