In this activity, you assign business transactions, such as sales activity or direct mailing campaign types, to an update group.
To do this you need to use the statistics groups, which you defined and assigned in the previous activities, as well as the relevant sales areas.
Caution
If a sales area does not have a particular influence on the statistics update, you can specify a generic sales area by leaving the Sales organisation, Distribution channel, and Division fields blank.
Prerequisites
- You must have created the sales areas.
- You must have defined and assigned the statistic groups for sales support .
Activities
Assign each statistics group and sales area to an update group.
Note
You do not need to create update groups for the sales summary because it is automatically updated by the system.
