In this work step, you define the data reduction and update of inspection lot data by determining an update group for each inspection lot origin.
The update group allows you to update different types of business transactions in the statistics in different ways.
The update rules for the key figures of the information structure are always determined with reference to an update group.
If you have not allocated an update group to an inspection lot origin, no data is updated to the corresponding inspection lots in the information system.
Default settings
The standard SAP R/3 System contains update groups suited to all possible inspection lot origins.
Actions
- Check whether the update group allocations contained in the standard system for the inspection lot origins meet your requirements.
- Allocate update groups to the inspection lot origins according to your requirements.
