In this step, you define control parameters for the following functions:
- Delete appraisals that have an historical record
Entry DELHI of group APPSY specifies
- Whether appraisals that have been completed, refused, or approved can be deleted
- Whether the status of appraisals that have been completed or refused can be changed back to In process so that the appraisals can be changed again
Note - Depending on the type of appraisal, resetting appraisals has the following effects:
- Individual appraisal: the status of the individual appraisal selected is reset
- Multisource appraisal: the status of the multisource appraisal selected and of all its subappraisals is reset
- Subappraisal: the status of the subappraisal selected and its multisource appraisal is reset
You can enter the following values in the Value abbr. field:

A Completed and rejected

to the status In process
B Completed, rejected, and approved
appraisals can be deleted, and
completed and rejected appraisals
can be reset to the status

Requirements
Deleting and resetting appraisals are linked to the following transactions:
APPDELETE
Delete completed appraisals
APPTAKEBACK
Reset completed and rejected apprasials to the status In process
To allow users to execute these actions, the necessary authorizations for the transactions must be set up.
Standard settings
You cannot delete appraisals that have been completed, rejected, or approved. Nor can you reset them to the status In process.

Activities
- If necessary, change the standard settings for the Value abbr. field.
- Save any changes you make.
