In this step, you start program RFFMDL52 to delete actual data in Cash Budget Management (totals data, balances, line items). You do this separately for each FM area.
Deletion can be time dependent. You can delete the actual data:
- for all fiscal years
- for a particular timeframe only
In the case of selective deletion enter a fiscal year and period for the line items, up to and including which you want to delete the line items. For totals data and balances, you need only enter a fiscal year.
The fiscal year for the totals data and balances must, for technical reasons, be earlier than the fiscal year for the line items.
Note: You should only use RFFMDL52 to delete the actual data in the test system or to delete data selectively. In the production system, use transaction SARA, which is the tool for archiving or deleting commitment/actual line itesm, and, where required, for reloading them into the production system.

Further notes
If you delete actual data selectively, the totals data and balances for particular periods are still in the system, per your specifications, even though you have deleted the corresponding line items. You can display totals data and balances in the information system, but cannot evaluate the matching line items there.
