The system generates a numbered document (hierarchy document) for each budget value posting made in Funds Management. The hierarchy document displays all the budget structure elements that have been changed during the processing of budget values.
The system takes the document number from number range interval 05 which is delivered as standard.
In this step, you can extend number range interval 05 if necessary.
Standard settings
The standard system includes number range 05 for Funds Management.
Activities
Only use number range 05 as delivered in the standard system. You cannot create new number range intervals because the system automatically only takes numbers from number range interval 05. However, you can extend number range 05 if necessary.
Further notes
You transport number range objects as follows:
Choose Interval -> Transport in the accounting document Number Range screen.
All intervals for the selected number range object are deleted in the target system first. After the import, only the intervals you export are present. The number statuses are imported with their values at the time of export.
Dependent tables are not transported or converted.
