In this step, you can define new budget versions on a cross-FM area basis or change the description of existing budget versions. Budget versions must exist before you can allocate budget in Funds Management. Budgeting is always based on a particular budget version.
Standard settings
The standard system we deliver contains budget versions 0, 1, and 2. Active availability control takes place only in version 0.
Activities
Check whether you can work with the three standard versions. If you require more budget versions, you can create them by choosing Edit -> New entries.
Further notes
If you are working in an FM area where budget version activation is year-dependent, you must activate each budgeting activity to be allowed in this version separately. For more information, refer to:
