In this step, you start the program to delete the budget structures in Funds Management.
You can delete all the budget structures in an FM area by specifying the relevant FM area and the option All funds. However, you can choose to delete the budget structure for just one fund by specifying that fund.
You should only use this program:
- If you are still in the test phase and want to delete your test data before the production startup
- If you have distributed budgets using budget objects but want to distribute the budget in future without them
- If you have used posting objects up to now, but in future want to be able to post all postable commitment items
If you want to delete a budget structure which was created via the group assignment, you must choose Group assignments and select all fields (budget objects, posting objects, assignment objects commitment budget and assignment objects payment budget, so that individual objects are deleted. The group definition itself is not deleted by this procedure.
