In this step, you can change the effect of statuses for configuration profiles.
The following statuses are predefined:
- In prep.
This status can be assigned to a configuration profile when you first create it. The profile is not released for configuration.
- Released
The profile is released for configuration.
- Locked
The profile is locked for configuration.
For each status, you can define that profiles with the status can be changed with engineering change management. However, this only applies to the following settings:
- Organizational areas
- Indicators for BOM explosion for configurable materials
- The BOM application field for configurable materials
