In this step you can define your own link types and use them in graphics profiles.
Link types are combined into groups. The link type determines the appearance of connections in a graphic.
A link type is made up of the following parts:
- Color definition
Defines the color characteristics of a link.
- Shape definition
Defines the characteristics that affect the shape of a link.
Note
A link group can be used in several graphics profiles. First check for possible dependencies before making any changes.

You should already have worked through the following steps:
Standard settings
SAP's standard delivery includes defined link types.
Recommendation
Copy the standard settings without changing them.
Activities
Define your own link types if necessary.
