You use this IMG activity to define components group call controls.

You can define the Internal Processing Status of the components group that is currently allowed, the action that controls it, and the new processing status that the action converts the components group into. Your internal business process is therefore modeled in this procedure.

Call control is executed at components group level. This means that you can control each components group in a different way.

You can also create different processes within a single call control with this flexible status action network. For example, you can control a repeat order or cancellation in a different manner to how you would control a normal JIT call.

Example

The user changes an internal processing status. If the user sends a message, the internal processing status is changed to message sent.

Activities

  1. Create an entry for each call control required. You enter a four digit short description and a description.
  2. Enter the action for converting a components group and the internal processing status it converts it to (from each internal processing status):
    1. Choose a processing status and actions and then New Entries.
    2. Enter the call control the entry is to be valid for.
    3. Specify the internal processing status the components should have before the action.
    4. Enter the action that should be used to convert the components group into a new internal processing status.
    5. Enter the new internal processing status that the components group is to have once the action has been executed.
    6. Repeat this procedure until you have covered the possible actions for all call controls and all internal processing statuses.

Further notes

In Change View 'Maintain JIT Customer': Overview you can assign a call control to a SeqJC and in doing so control each component group separately.

For summarized JIT calls, assignment is done via the JIT call profile defined in the control cycle.
