  1. Check whether you are able to cover your business process with the standard actions offered. If you require additional actions, proceed as follows:
    • If the action should only change a components group's internal processing status, you can simply enter it in the table.
    • If the action should also execute a function, you can create this function via Business Add-Ins: Initial Definition Maintenance Screen.
  2. You can also link multiple actions to one Interlinked Action. This has the advantage that at a later stage you can execute linked multiple actions in one operation.
    1. Then enter the action in the table, select the action, and choose Interlinked Action.
    2. Now enter the sub-actions in the table, and specify the linked action and the sub-action's sequence number. You use the sequence number to control the execution sequence. Then, from the actions table, you can specify a subaction for the action that will be useful for your business view.
Note however that only the first subaction should modify the call - all the others such as Print components list should be read-only. Otherwise problems can arise when a subaction is executed before a previous one has been closed. A linked action can not be specified as a subaction.

Further notes

You use IMG activity Define Call Control to define when an action should be executed, and the internal processing status that an action will use when converting a components group.
