In this IMG activity you define the call controls for the components groups.
- You can define which actions are permitted with which current processing status of the components group and to which new processing status the action converts the components group. In this way you reproduce your internal business process.
- In addition, you define which external status changes lead to which actions. In this way you reproduce the control of the components group by the status information transmitted by the JIT customer. Make sure that the action triggered is permitted for the current processing status.
The control of calls also takes place on a components group level. This means that you can control each components group differently.
With this flexible action net you can also realize various processes in a call control. You can, for example, control a repeat order or a cancellation differently to a standard JIT call.
Example
The components groups of a call have the current processing status call created. By changing the external status, the action release for production (PIN) is executed. In this way, the components groups of the call receive the internal processing status component list printed.

Recommendation
Activities
- Make an entry for each call control required. Enter a four-figure short name and a description.
- Define which actions should be carried out if changing the external status:
- To do so enter the corresponding call control.
- Enter the current external status, which the components group should have before the status change. If you leave the field empty, the entry is valid for all external statuses.
- Enter the new external status that the components group has after the status change.
- Enter the action, which should be carried out in the relevant status change.
- Repeat the operation until all possible status changes are covered for all call controls.
- Starting from each internal processing status, enter which action converts a components group into which internal processing status:
- Choose processing statuses and actions and then new entries.
- Enter the call control for which the entry is applied.
- Enter the internal processing status that the components group should have before the action.
- Enter the action, which is to convert the components group into a new internal processing status.
- Enter the new internal processing status, which the components group is to have after the action has been carried out.
- Repeat the operation until you have covered the possible actions for all call controls and all internal processing statuses.
Further notes
In the basic data you can assign a call control to each components group type and thus control each components group differently.
