With this IMG activity, you define the parameters for creating a delivery in JIT processing. You can define that:

You do not want to enter picking quantities when the delivery is created.
The system creates handling units according to a packing instruction or a customer-exit. If you want to create handling units, you must also specify the packing transaction profile.
You want to carry out a logistics match of a delivery confirmation, if, for example, you receive collective daily delivery notes from your JIT customer.
You want to copy the external call number (production number) to the delivery IDoc. You can do this on header or item level.
The status of the components group is updated when goods issue is posted.

If you have created a control profile for the delivery, you can assign it to a JIT customer in the basic data.
