In this section, you define the number range interval for BAV identification numbers. You can define intervals and the related statuses and you can reset interval statuses. The BAV identification interval is always assigned to number range number '01'. If you use another number range number, the related functions will not take account of the interval. If you want to delete an interval, first reset the interval status to zero.

Activities

  1. Choose 'Insert interval' to create new intervals.
  2. Define the interval by specifying a 'From-number' and a 'To-number'.
  3. Use the Ext field to determine whether the number range interval is external or internal.
    In the case of internal number range intervals, numbers are assigned by the SAP System. The last number asigned is logged in the number status ('current number'). For external number assignment you need to specify a number between the From-number and the To-number.
  4. Save your entries.

Changes:

Choose 'Change intervals' or 'Change status'.

You can make the interval larger or change the interval status, according to your requirements.
