In this step you define special interest indicators and assign specific values to them.

You use this additional condition to define interest calculation rules for the special interest on arrears calculation. The indicator is used in the special interest on arrears calculation report. The special interest calculation determines the interest on arrears as a percentage of the loan principal in arrears.

Activities

  1. Choose New entries.
  2. For each line, make the following entries:
    1. Enter a special interest indicator (SpecIntID). It can be any numeric or alphanumeric character.
    2. Enter a dunning level (Dunn.level). There are nine dunning levels (1-9). The higher the number, the more urgent the dunning.
    3. Enter the payment deadline (PmDd).
    4. Enter the grace period (GrP.).
    5. Enter the calendar used (Calendar).
    6. Enter the interest rate to be used for the interest in arrears. (Int rate).
    7. Enter a text (Sp.int ID text).
  3. Save your entries.
