In this step you define registers for processing files. You need to define processing statuses, which you then assign to an activity.

Standard settings

Over 20 sample registers are supplied for rollover. SAP recommends that you use these registers and that you should delete the registers (or tasks) that you do not use, to ensure that have a good overview of the processing statuses of your rollover activities.

Activities

  1. Choose New entries.
  2. Enter a register indicator.
  3. Give the register a name.
  4. Enter a short name.
  5. Define a ranking order for the register, in other words, the order in which it appears on the screen.
  6. Define a register type.
  7. If you want to be able to remove a loan from a file for processing, set the removal ID.
  8. Create dunning and term end registers, in which loans due for repayment are entered.
  9. Define dunning and term end tolerances. This lets you define a period (in time units) which can pass before a loan is entered into the dunning and term end register.
  10. Save your entries.

Further notes

You must define at least two registers for each activity type:

  • a default register where you assign loans by means of the functions Fill file and Insert loans and
  • a separate register where you assign a loan which you want to remove from the normal processing functions for a certain period.
