Define the types of collateral to be used for securing loans.

The collateral type controls which screens are displayed for entering collateral. The individual collateral types are used at various places in the system:

  • Collateral types '02' to '09' and '99' are relevant for collateral management and are referred to as other collateral.
  • Collateral of type '50' are used in loans processing on the Basic Data 1' screen.
  • Collateral types '01' and '11' are used for mortgage loan processing, in particular for maintaining encumbrances for objects.

Activities

  1. Select New entries if you want to make new entries.
  2. Enter the following for each collateral object:
    1. Collateral key (Col).
    2. Short and long name of collateral.
    3. Category of collateral group.
  3. Save your entries.
