In this step, you define your number range interval for conditions.
You can define intervals and the related current interval numbers and you can also reset intervals. The number range interval is hard-coded as number range number '01'; if you use another number range number, the system will not take account of it. If you want to delete an interval, you have to reset the current number to zero.
Activities
Enter the company code in which you want to maintain the interval.
Choose 'Change intervals' to create new intervals. Choose 'Change status' to change the current interval number.
Enter the number range number (No).
Define the number range by entering a From number, which marks the lower limit of an interval and a To number, which marks the upper limit.
Set the flag to determine whether the number range interval is external or internal (Ext). For internal number range intervals, numbers are assigned internally via the SAP System. The last number assigned is logged as the current number. In the case of external number assignment you have to enter a number in the input field current number. The number you enter has to be between the From number and the To number.
