In this step you define the report selection tree for Consolidation. This is a freely definable hierarchy of reports that is used for calling up individual reports.

The heirarchy you define in this step is displayed in the application menu under "Information system -> Report selection". You can either accept the report selection tree 'ECCS' supplied by SAP or define your own.

Standard settings

The report selection tree 'ECCS' supplied by SAP contains all standard Consolidation reports.

Note that this tree only exists in client 000. To be used, you must transport the report tree into other clients.

Activities

  1. Import the standard tree 'ECCS' from client 000 into your test or production (live) client: Select "Report tree -> Import".
  2. If you want to define your own report tree instead of the standard tree 'ECCS', select "Create report tree" (that is, the root node only).
  3. Copy the standard tree 'ECCS': Run the change transaction for the report tree 'ECCS', select the desired sub-tree, and copy it into the clipboard ("Copy to clipboard").
  4. In the change transaction, select "Node -> Other tree" and call up your newly created report tree.
  5. Insert the copied sub-tree into your report tree ("Insert clipboard").
  6. Modify your report tree as needed.
    • Delete the node.
    • Add new nodes as needed.
