In this workstep you assign a pricing procedure for the service lines to a billing type with BOS. Pricing procedure determination for the billing item is not defined here.
During pricing, the system automatically determines which pricing procedure is valid and takes into account the condition types contained in it. If you make no assignment, the system automatically uses pricing procedure VS0000.
Example
You configure your own document procedures and then assign these to the predefined billing types with bills of services FAZS and L2.

You can define your own pricing procedure in which only the condition types that you want to use are contained. In this way, you avoid the system accessing conditions unnecessarily.

Using the document flow, in Customizing for Sales and Distribution under Billing -> Billing Documents -> Maintain Copying Control for Billing Documents, you define the procedures used by the SAP System when it copies sales and billing documents with bills of services. On copying bills of services, the SAP system also copies the pricing data from the reference document to the target document, if the pricing procedures agree. In other words, you have to ensure that the condition types that you want to copy exist in both procedures.
