In this activity you define the access sequences.

The access sequence is a search strategy that the SAP System uses to search for valid condition records in pricing per condition type. You define the access priorities to condition tables by using the sequence.

The access sequence makes reference to the fields relevant to pricing via the condition tables.

Example

Requirements

Standard settings

The following access sequence is provided in the standard SAP System for service conditions:

  • 0010 Service conditions

Recommendation

Do not change the access sequences provided in the standard SAP System.

If you want to create a new access sequence, check how much of the existing access sequence you can use as a copying reference.

Activities

  1. You create a new access sequence.
Also copy an existing access sequence and give it a different name.
  2. Select accesses and specify the condition tables.
Ensure they are in the required sequence.
