In this activity, you assign a pricing procedure for service lines to a sales document type with a bill of services. You do not define the pricing procedure determination for the SD item here.
During pricing, the SAP System automatically determines the valid pricing procedure and takes account of its condition types. If you make no assignment, the system automatically uses pricing procedure VS0000.
Example
You configure your own document pricing procedures and then assign them to the predefined sales document types with bills of services AFLV, AGLV, TALV and LALV.

Recommendation
You can define your own pricing procedure containing just those condition types that you actually use. This stops the SAP System unnecessarily accessing conditions.

Using the document flow, in Customizing for Sales and Distribution under Sales -> Copying Control for Sales Documents, you define the procedures used by the SAP System when it copies sales and billing documents with bills of services. On copying bills of services, the SAP system also copies the pricing data from the reference document to the target document, if the pricing procedures agree. In other words, you have to ensure that the condition types that you want to copy exist in both procedures.
