In this Customizing activity, you define the pricing procedures for bills of services (BOS).

In the pricing procedure define the condition types to be taken into account by the SAP System when pricing BOS. At the same time, define the sequence in which the condition types are to be used.

During BOS pricing, depending on the sales document type, the SAP System determines the pricing procedure that is valid for a business transaction, and takes sequential account of the condition types therein.

Standard settings

The following pricing procedures are delivered:

  • VS0000: Standard procedure for service conditions in SD (BOS)
  • VS0001 Standard procedure for master conditions

Recommendation

Do not change the pricing procedures in the standard SAP System.

If you want to create a new pricing procedure, check whether you can use an existing condition table as a reference.

Activities

  1. Create a new pricing procedure.
    To do this, copy an existing pricing procedure and rename it.
  2. Enter the new condition types or change the existing ones.
    Put them in the correct sequence.
  3. Check the access sequences and names of the condition types that you maintained in the pricing procedure.
    You can also define your own access sequences.
