Use
This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Plant Maintenance (PM) and SAP 3D Visual Enterprise (CA-VE) components.
When you process a maintenance order or task list, you can create, display, and assign related documents. If you have assigned reference objects (pieces of equipment, functional locations, assemblies) or maintenance notifications to the maintenance order, you can also display the documents that belong to these dependent objects.
You can use this BAdI to display additional documents when processing maintenance orders or task lists in the relevant SAP GUI transactions for Plant Maintenance. The documents you define with this BAdI are displayed:
- In the maintenance order when the user chooses the Additional Data tab page and then Show Document of Dependent Object in the group box Document Assignments
- In the task list when the user chooses the Documents pushbutton and then Show Document of Dependent Object
If the default implementation is active, the system additionally displays documents that are assigned to the construction type of the technical object (equipment or functional location), irrespective of whether the technical object is on operation level or header level.

Standard settings
For more information about the standard settings (filters, single or multiple use), see the Enhancement Spot Element Definitions tab page in the BAdI Builder (transaction SE18).
This BAdI is filter dependent. For the filter DOKOB the system sets the following filter values:
- PMAUFK is set if the BAdI is called in the maintenance order.
- PMPLKO is set if the BAdI is called in the task list.
BAdI Implementations
- EAMCC_DOCUMENT_TL_GUI_DEF
This default implementation is designed for the task list so that documents that are assigned to the construction type can be displayed when the user chooses Show Document of Dependent Object.
- EAMCC_DOCUMENT_ORDER_GUI_DEF
This default implementation is designed for the maintenance order so that documents that are assigned to the construction type can be displayed when the user chooses Show Document of Dependent Object.
