Use

In this IMG activity, you define the connection to the central alert server. Only perform this activity if you want to use the Central Alert Framework.

Requirements

Check that the RFC connection entered for the server is valid: Perform a connection test in transaction SM59 for the RFC connection.

Standard settings

  • Call transaction SALRT1.
  • In the input field, enter the RFC destination for your central alert server. If you want to use alert management locally in this system, or if this system is serving as the central alert server, enter NONE as the destination.
