In this step, you set up data entry profiles for CATS for Service Providers. Compared with the activity of the same name for CATS Classic, the options that are not needed here are hidden.

By assigning the appropriate authorizations, you can protect all profiles against unauthorized access.

Note

You can choose Change in the Field Selection Control box to go to the activity Select Fields to determine the fields that are to be displayed on the screen in CATS for Service Providers in relation to the profile. This enables you to restrict the data to be entered to the necessary amount.

Standard settings

The SAP standard system contains several sample profiles for the most commom data entry scenarios.

Activities

  1. Define your requirements as per your business and user requirements.
  2. Copy suitable standard profiles as required and modify them to suit your requirements.
  3. Create your own profiles, if needed.
  4. Select the options you require for the current data entry profile.
