Use
In this IMG activity, you define the different output types for inbound deliveries. Each output type summarizes messages of the same meaning and contains parameters that are valid for all of its assigned messages. In SAP Auto-ID Infrastructure 2.0, each output type represents a physical process that is executed in the auto-ID infrastructure.
You subsequently define a relationship between the output types, message types and IDoc types in IMG activity Maintain Partner Profiles.
Requirements
You have define access sequences in IMG activity Maintain Access Sequences.
Standard settings
Mapping and posting services, as well as required delivery status types, for the standard output types are provided with the standard system.
Activities
- Enter output types and corresponding descriptions. If you want to use the output types provided with the auto-ID infrastructure, enter the following:
Output Type Description
AUB0 Unld Both HU Levels
SU10 Unload SUns
AUU1 Unpk Lower-Level HUs
CNCL Cancel
- Ensure that you do the following for each of the output types:
- In the General data tab, enter an access sequence that you have already defined in IMG activity Maintain Access Sequences, and set the Access to Conditions and Multiple issuing indicators.
- In the Default values tab, choose Distribution (ALE) as the transmission medium.
- If you want to use the Create Material Master Data IDocs application transaction, or schedule a job to run a variant, in order to create operational IDocs based on the output type, choose Send with periodically scheduled job in the Dispatch time field.
If you want operational IDocs based on the output type to be automatically created by the system, choose Send immediately (when saving the application) in the Dispatch time field. - In the Processing routines section, enter RSNASTED as the program and ALE_PROCESSING as the FORM routine.
- If you want outputs of a particular output type to be created for an inbound delivery when a particular delivery status type reaches the status of C - Completely processed, choose the delivery status type in the DlvRqStTpe field.
If you leave this field blank, the output will be created for an inbound delivery when the delivery is created, as well as after every time the delivery is changed. - If you want to create your own output types:
- Copy an existing output type and make the necessary changes.
- Ensure that you define each output type with a 4-character identifier beginning with the letter "Y" or "Z", since SAP reserves these name conventions in the standard SAP system.
- Enter mapping and posting services, as well as required delivery status types, for IDocs created for the output type.
