Note

This activity is only relevant if you are using it in conjunction with SAP Knowledge Warehouse.

Use

You use this activity to schedule a background job that deletes buffered documents from the database.

In SAP Knowledge Warehouse, creating book structures for the display can be somewhat time-consuming. This is because the description texts for the individual structure nodes can change frequently. To circumvent this problem, documents are buffered. The buffer entries are updated after every change. However, if IOs are being checked in frequently, the buffering process can also consume a lot of time and system resources. Therefore, a function exists which allows you to specify how often the buffer entries should be overwritten and obsolete documents deleted. To do this, you use the report RSIRIBUF.
