Example

For example, writing change pointers can be switched on for the message type MATMAS (material master data) and off for the message type DEBMAS (customer master data).

Requirements

Writing the change pointers generally must be activated.

Standard settings

In the standard system, writing change pointers is switched off for all message types.

Activities

  1. Execute the function.
  2. Activate writing the change pointers for the message types you need.
  3. Save your entries.

Activate change pointers for POI message types

If you use reduced message types, you must make sure they have been activated.

IMG -> Distribution (ALE) -> Distribution scenarios -> Master data distribution -> Reduce IDoc types for master data
