In this step, you can define additional filters for operations and suboperations pertaining to business objects such as routings and process/production/planned orders. For each logical system, you can transfer only those operations and suboperations for which the SCHEDULING and CAPACITY REQUIREMENTS control key settings match those of the logical system. That means you can download only those operations/suboperations that are relevant to scheduling and/or capacities requirements.
If no entry exists for a logical system, all the operations/suboperations pertaining to the business object are downloaded.
Example
Control keys specify how operations and suboperations should be processed by defining the specific transactions to be carried out. In this case, control keys are used to define scheduling and to determine capacity requirements.

Activities
- In the maintenance screen: Define filters for control keys, select New entries.
- Enter the logical system (for example, EXTERNAL 1).
- Flag field SCHD to send operations/suboperations of message types belonging to the logical system EXTERNAL 1 (for example, message types LOIROU, LOIPRO and LOIPLO) whose control keys for scheduling have also been flagged.
- Flag field CAPR to send operations/suboperations of IDocs whose control keys for capacity requirements have also been flagged.
- Flag both fields to send operations/suboperations requiring both scheduling and capacity requirements.
Further notes
If you flag the field 'SCHED' but not 'CAPR', only those operations/suboperations are downloaded that should be scheduled. If you flag only 'CAPR', only those operations and suboperations for which capacity requirements are needed will be downloaded.
