In this step, you can further restrict the data download of production and/or process orders by defining additional selection criteria. For example, you could decide to download only those orders whose status is 'incomplete'.

Selection criteria are stored in selection profiles that you must define in Customizing. Entries for logical systems are optional. You can make only one entry per logical system. For each logical system you can choose a selection profile for either the order header, the order operations, or both.

Requirements

You must first define selection profiles.

Activities

  • In the Selection Profile Maintenance screen, choose New Entries.
  • Enter the logical system.
  • Enter selection profiles for orders in the column SelProfiles and for operations in Column OprSelProf.

Further notes

Keep in mind that using a selection profile for order operations may cause the selection process to take longer because all order operations have to be checked, but you can reduce the time needed for the data download if not all order operations have to be downloaded.
