Use

In this IMG activity, you can define the number of days after which a case is archived.

Requirements

Standard settings

The default setting is for cases not to be archived.

Activities

  1. Make entries in the table fields:
    • Case type: Name of a case type. Only cases of this case type will be archived.
    • System status: Number of a system status. Only cases with the specified case type and this system status will be archived.
    • Retention period: Number of days after which the case is moved from the database to an archive.
    • Description: Brief info regarding the retention period.
  2. Start Archiving. Call up transaction SARA and enter "SCMG" as the object name. On the basis of the entries made for this IMG activity, the system checks which cases are released for archiving. For further information, see Application Help for transaction SARA.
