Use
Before you can use Case Management, you have to make certain basic settings in Case Management. These are described here briefly.
Requirements
Standard settings
Activities
In the registry for Records Management, open the branch "application registry". The area S_AREA_CMG contains all entries that are required for Case Management.
Creating Element Types
First define an element type for each Service Provider if you have not already done so (also: Service Provider Space, abbreviated to SPS). To do this, select the Service Provider and use the context menu (right mouse click) to create an element type. In the classification, create the following parameter IDs: TYPE SCMG_CASE (Determines the grouping for the transaction SCASE)
RMS_ID S_CMG_DATA (See: RMS_ID
) LOG_KEEP_DAYS 30 (For the application log see: Activating the Application Log)
LOG_LEVEL 4
Creating a Model for Case Management
After you have made the basic settings in the registry, use transaction SCASE to create a case model that defines the valid objects of the tree structure.
Set the status of the model to Released. Now the model is ready for use.
Announcing the Model in the Element Type for the Service Provider SCMG_SP_CASE_RECORD
Assign the released model to the element type SCMG_SP_CASE_RECORD.
