Use
With this Business Add-In (BAdI), you can define the mapping from the backend user name to an e-mail address, and vice versa.
The external service provider may request an e-mail address as a user name. This e-mail address can be taken from various sources: The user's data in the system, Business Partner data, or even from a remote system.
Requirements
Standard settings
The default implementation uses the BAPI BAPI_USER_GET_DETAIL, which reads the e-mail address from the user in the back end.
