Use
In this Customizing activity, you can maintain the server settings for the applications that are used. At the very least the application #SAIL# (default value) must be maintained, but further applications may have been defined and delivered with the given SAP release.
Requirements
Standard settings
SAP has already predefined and delivered the applications using the Social Media Integration in view CLBV_APPLI, and the possible platforms in view CLBV_PLATF_DEF.
Activities
For each application, you have to assign the collaborating server that is addressed by the REST communication.
For instance, you assign provider type StreamWork (for SAP Jam in compatibility mode) and server #Jam productive# for productive use of SAP Jam.
Configure the server settings for each assignment:
- The OAuth client registered under Register Application as OAuth Client as the external application ID
- The consumer key that you retrieved after completing the Customizing activity Register Application as OAuth Client
- You can specify a timeout for all HTTP requests sent to the service provider on a server basis
