Use

In this IMG activity, you define field selection for the trial views.

The fields of a trial view for which field selection is permitted are grouped into "screen groups". One screen group always exists for each trial view.

"Modifiable" and "influencing" fields are defined for each screen group:

  • For the modifiable fields, you use indicators to define how the individual fields are displayed on the screen:
    • The field is ready for input (standard setting).
    • The field requires an entry (required entry field).
    • The field is displayed only.
    • The field is hidden.
    • The field is highlighted.
  • For the influencing fields, you enter a value to define how the individual modifiable fields are displayed on the screen. In the trial views, the influencing field is always the trial type.

Standard settings

Field selection has already been defined for the trial types provided.

Activities

  1. In the Field Selection for Trial Views dialog box, choose the required view.
  2. The Field Selection screen for the required view displays all of the modifiable fields that are available for this trial view.
  3. Choose Influencing.
  4. For each trial type, define how you want all of the modifiable fields to be displayed.
    1. In the Influencing Value field, enter the required trial type.
    2. Choose Continue.
    3. Make the settings for the modifiable fields (Req., Disp., Hide, and HiLi).
