Use

In this IMG activity, you specify an alternative material for the inspection plan.

During trials, it can sometimes be the case that an inspection plan exists only for an entire product group or category in the product hierarchy rather than for the individual product being produced. In inspection planning in Trial Management, the system checks whether an inspection plan exists for the specified material. If this is not the case, the system searches for an alternative material. You can run inspection planning for the current trial on the basis of this alternative material and its inspection plan.

Requirements

You have assigned a product hierarchy to the finished product (which is assigned to a trial) in the material master.

Activities

Specify a product hierarchy and assign an alternative material to it.
