Use

In this IMG activity, you define how you want process messages to be sent from Production Planning for Process Industries (PP-PI) to results recording in Trial Management, that is, how they are transferred to the process parameter results in Trial Management.

Requirements

• You have defined the process parameter or process instruction settings for the transformation (see Assign Process Parameter Class to Process Instruction Category).
• You have created message destinations for sending the results to Trial Management (see Define and Set Up Message Destinations).
• You have defined process message categories (see Define and Set Up Process Message Categories).
• You have defined the relationship between process instructions and process messages (see Define Process Instruction Categories (General)).
• You have defined parameters (see Assign Modules to Parameters (Results Confirmation)).

Notes:

• The settings are plant-dependent.
• Consult those responsible for Customizing for Production Planning for Process Industries.

Activities

1. Enter the class that is used in Trial Management for the process parameter results and to which you want to transfer the results.
2. For those characteristics that you want to fill from PP-PI, enter a parameter and, if necessary, the characteristic for the process message category from which the system reads the value.
